(BCN) -- Monday in the Bay Area calls for cool conditions with cloud cover across the region until dark, according to the National Weather Service.
Daytime highs will be mostly in the low to mid 60s on the coast, low to high 70s around the bay, and in the mid 60s to high 70s inland. Overnight lows will be in the high 40s to low 50s.
Cooler weather is expected across the Bay Area and Central Coast on Monday, the NWS says.
Winds from the ocean, reaching 10 to 20 mph, will bring cooler air to the region through the afternoon. Winds are expected to weaken in the evening and may change direction through Tuesday, forecasters say.

Light rain could develop mainly over the ocean by Tuesday evening as more moisture moves into the region. The weather service also expects showers to move onto the Central Coast and then spread into the Bay Area.
